Selfridges is the first in the world to unveil its 2016 festive display with this year’s theme: ‘Shine On!’.
And it certainly does with its glittering red Santa in a variety of winter landscapes. He features in the Christmas windows for the first time in two years.
The display also uses a revolutionary speaker system which vibrates the glass to produce unique soundtracks for each window.
Selfridges creative director Linda Hewson said: “It’s been enormous fun to design and produce such upbeat, sparkly and colourful displays”.
Each scene features a different take on a party scene, with poodles, polar bears and over 100 disco balls.
