Daniel Craig’s neighbours are asking the star to double o sever a 50 metre tree in his back garden. The move by Camden council comes after a request from Craig’s neighbour.
The neighbour in question has commissioned an engineer’s report which says the trees have caused subsidence in the neighbouring property, built in 1850, which has a three-storey extension at the back.
The report highlights a bathroom, two bedrooms, a living room, a conservatory, a utility room and a hallway, all with varying sizes of cracks in the walls, said to be caused by the trees.
Yet many neighbours have taken side with Craig arguing that the tree has become a local landmark in the area.
Craig was staying true to his character James Bond and revealed nothing when asked by CityNews for comment.
