Amazon UK has announced 5,000 new full-time jobs this year, bringing its workforce to 24,000 in the UK.
The jobs range from sentry-level positions and on-the-job training to software developers and engineers. The new employees will be located in its various offices across the country, including its head office in London, its Customers Service Centre in Edinburgh and its Fashion Photography Studio in Shoreditch.
These jobs follow an announcement by the company to build a new head office this year in Shoreditch.
