British Politics: Are some Christian beliefs unwanted?

Media interest in the conservative Christian views of politicians has been renewed in recent weeks.

Extensive interviews were conducted with Member of Scottish Parliament, Kate Forbes, about her views on sex, marriage and homosexuality, during her bid to become first minister.

Historically, former Liberal Democrat leader Tim Farron also received sustained questioning about his Christian beliefs.

This, coupled with recent census data showing a decline in those describing themselves as Christians in England and Wales, has led to the question: Are some Christian beliefs unwanted in modern British politics?

Solape Alatise takes the question to the public, politicians, secular and Christian experts alike.
