A man in his 50s was pronounced dead at the scene.

A man has been arrested and a murder investigation has been launched following a stabbing in Harrow.

Police were called shortly after 2:00am this morning to Chester Drive, following reports of a fight outside a residential area.

A man in his late 50s was treated by paramedics but pronounced dead at the scene.

The Met Police have said that his family has been informed.

Another man, in his 30s, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder.

Detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command are carrying out enquiries and a crime scene remains in place.

They have not commented as to whether the pair were known to each other.
