People most value their wealth and their health when thinking about their satisfaction.

That’s according to a new report released by the Office for National Statistics. The report found that “economic activity”, “self-reported health” and “marital status” were among the key factors people prioritised.

The report also found that those who own their home are more likely to be more satisfied with their life.

However, it found that people are finding happiness another way – by spending their hard earned money.

So are people sacrificing their health, in order to increase their wealth? We asked some people in London what’s most important to them.

 

A fast-paced city

And many Londoners also felt like London is a city that encourages this culture.

They said that there are lots of factors which caused this. One person said that the problem was healthy food was expensive in the capital.

And others said that jobs here encourage people to push themselves past their limits in pursuit of success of their careers and bigger pay checks.
