Today, David Beckham has refused to answer questions about the family feud after being spotted at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Since Brooklyn’s post last night, Londoners have been abuzz with the latest news.
Commuters told City News:
“I am Team Beckham, how can he bash them like that.”
“Good for him for standing up for himself.”
“It’s very similar to the Prince Harry situation a few years ago.”
The reaction online, particularly TikTok, has been huge. The opinions are very mixed.
Some people are creating memes on the platform, which are very quickly going viral.
Rumours of division at the heart of the Beckham family have swirled since Brooklyn’s wedding just over three years ago, he even blocked his family members on Instagram at the end of last year.

Talking publicly for the first time, the 26 year old aspiring chef and photographer posted: “My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped.”
He claimed that his mother “hijacked” his first dance with Nicola and danced on him “inappropriately”, leaving him feeling uncomfortable.
In his posts Brooklyn said he does not want to reconcile with his family. According to him, “family ‘love’ is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo opp, even if it’s at the expense of our professional obligations.”

Brooklyn has also alleged that his wife had been “disrespected” by his family and that she was not invited to his dad’s 50th birthday party last year.
Nicola is is the daughter of American billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz and former model Claudia Heffner Peltz.
Brooklyn continued “My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press or manipulation. All we want is peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family.”
The other members of the Beckham family have not responded – their latest Stories, posted before Brooklyn’s statement, are promoting Cruz’s upcoming first gig in east London.
