A woman has been served a 12-month conditional discharge after pleading guilty to assaulting an emergency worker.

Lisa Jane Trundell of St. Mary’s Park, Islington was charged with the common assault of an emergency worker, at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court.

The 49-year old pleaded guilty to the charge in connection with the incident, which took place on the 22 June.

The trial was over in under an hour, with the magistrate ruling that Ms. Blundell serve a 12-month conditional discharge.

If she commits any further offence during this period, she will be sentenced for this offence too.

She was also ordered to pay a £20 surcharge and £50 in compensation to her victim.
