Londoners hoping to catch a glimpse of the biggest supermoon for decades were left disappointed by heavy clouds.
At Primrose Hill, named as the best place to witness the huge moon, stargazers may not have been able to see it, but they could apparently feel it. Attendees reported that the moon’s increased energy had lifted their spirits and kept them from feeling too let down.
Supermoons are generally 14 percent bigger and 30 percent brighter in the night sky. This week’s event (or unfortunate non-event), will not be matched until the moon makes a similar approach in 2034.
