A man in his twenties was left fighting for his life in Homerton on Monday night after being stabbed multiple times.

It is believed that the group of people responsible for the attack chased the man before the attack took place. They fled the scene immediately.

The incident occurred just after 6pm on Harrowgate Road in Homerton.

Police cordoned off the crime scene on Monday night pending an investigation.

This attack came just hours after the fatal stabbing of a 15 year old boy outside his school in Kensal Rise.

Residents who discovered the injured man have confirmed that he was taken to the Royal London Hospital.
