A petition started to get local Councils to fund a park bench for late star George Michael, has almost reached 1000 signatures.
Fans started the campaign to honour the Careless Whisper singer two days ago.
They are appealing for more people to sign up claiming this is the ideal tribute for Michael, as Hampstead Heath was a place he would often visit to relax.
City of London council have said that their waiting list for memorial benches is currently closed.
