Metropolitan Police Commissioner, Sir Bernard Hogan Howe, said he believed the visit was scheduled for June but that the details were still to be fleshed out.
The Commissioner also said that he already has concerns about the extent of protests, and that the cost of policing them could run to millions. He said, “I would think it is going to be the odd million, but I can’t be too precise.”
