Profits at a local independent bookshop have doubled after it found itself at the centre of an international twitter row with Piers Morgan.

Freddy Tennyson hopped on the Hogwarts Express to Wood Green to find out why muggles have been flocking there.

When Simon Kee tweeted the first line of Harry Potter to Piers Morgan, he had no idea it would make him a viral sensation and cause sales at his independent book shop in Haringey to shoot up.

Simon says he’ll continue to tweet Harry Potter line by line, sending about a hundred tweets a day, until He Who Must Not Be Named blocks him, or JK Rowling asks him to stop.

Since this all began the shop has had over ten thousand followers And they’re still Rowling it in. At a time when some high street bookshops are struggling with sales – this one nearly shutting down this year, it’s been a welcome boost.

Will sales stay potty? Or will they weasle(y) out? Granger things have happened.
