The Conservative Volunteers group are at Lordship Recreation Woodland today helping to spruce up the area.

The group will be leading volunteers from the local Haringey community to help carry out repairs to the path in the woodland.

They will also be carrying out refurbishments to help maintain the pond.

The Conservation Volunteers said, ‘days like this aim to help communities take an active role in their outdoor spaces.’

The Lordship ground is considered to be part of the heart of Haringey.

Opening as a public park in 1932, it has provided recreational facilities for years in the local Tottenham area.
