The City of London police were called to St Mary’s Axe at 11:32 on Tuesday morning, following ‘reports of a suspicious vehicle parked on the street.’
Road closures were put in place while the police were investigating the incident.

A bomb disposal robot and a specially-trained dog could be seen working around the car.
We can confirm all road closures in the area surrounding St Mary Axe (EC3) have been lifted and the vehicle has been deemed non-suspicious.
The driver of the vehicle has been arrested for possession of false identity documents.
