The court of appeal has reversed the 2010 murder conviction.

Sally Challen was jailed for 18 years after hitting her husband over the head with a hammer more than 20 times.

Ms Challen has already served eight years of her 18 year sentence.

However, the court of appeal has reversed this decision. The court has ordered a retrial.

Her two sons have been fighting for their mum’s conviction to be reduced. She has also received support from Justice for Women.
