A 14-year old boy has been rushed to hospital after being knifed in an incident in Penge, south-east London.
The child was found with a stab wound on his arm and rushed to hospital.
Following reports of young people fighting at Croydon Road’s junction, police attended the scene.
Witnesses allegedly saw a group of young people fighting at 3.35pm yesterday.
Paramedics attended the scene in Croydon Road, Penge, on Wednesday evening.
His condition was not believed to be life-threatening, Scotland Yard said.
A Metropolitan Police press release reports that detectives “retain an open mind as to any motive but do not believe the victim was robbed.”
The Metropolitan Police is appealing for witnesses or information, particularly drivers who may have dash-cam footage showing those involved in the fight.
