A spokeperson from Downing Street has defended Boris Johnson after he was revealed to have not worn a mask in his car journey away from Wembley Stadium.
The Prime Minister was photographed inside his ministerial Range-Rover after leaving the England v Denmark game at the Euros on Wednesday.
The PM’s driver and security guards were all seen to be wearing face-masks but Mr Johnson was not.

A spokesperson from Downing Street has said that the PM put on his face-mask “shortly after” the picture was taken.
When asked about whether it was guidance for ministers to have to wear masks inside official vehicles and confined spaces the spokesperson confirmed this was the case.
