Disruptions to travel are occurring across multiple lines, including the Elizabeth and Metropolitan.

The Elizabeth line has been suspended between Paddington and Abbey Wood this morning. This is due to a “signalling system fault”, according to Transport for London (TFL).
There are severe delays on the rest of the line as a result of these issues. London underground are accepting Elizabeth line tickets via other reasonable routes.
This is following earlier delays to the Metropolitan line between Harrow-on-the-hill and Watford due to a gas leak earlier this morning. These issues have now been rectified and service is back to normal.
This comes after a weekend of travel problems due to weather conditions caused by Storm Bert. Hundreds of thousands of travellers could not complete their journeys over the weekend, though London was only minorly affected.
Key rail links closed at the weekend and 400 flights were cancelled as a result of the adverse weather conditions.
Lines have reopened after Gatwick Express trains faced disruption this morning due to a “speed restriction imposed over a defective track”. Though regular service has resumed, trains could still be delayed or cancelled.
Gatwick Express initially said that travellers should allow an “extra 20 minutes” to complete their journeys. This is now no longer the case.
The disruptions were between Gatwick and Purley, with National Rail expecting disruptions to last until 1pm.
