Boys as young as thirteen have been charged after a series of iPhone thefts at thirteen Apple stores across London over two weeks.

The robberies are said to have taken place over the space of two-and-a-half weeks. The first reported raid happened on December 19, 2024, at Battersea Power Station.
At the Brent Cross shopping mall a gang of masked individuals raided the store as bystanders fled the scene. Security personnel tried to fend off the thieves. Officers were called to the store around 2.35pm

Three 15-year-old boys from Lambeth, a 17-year-old-boy from Lambeth, a 17-year-old-boy from Bromley, a 14-year-old-boy from Croydon, a 13-year-old boy from Lambeth and a 16-year-old boy from Cambridge were charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and conspiracy to steal from a shop and appeared at Croydon Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
Also appearing in court was a 13-year-old boy from Lambeth and a 14-year-old-boy from Bromley charged with conspiracy to commit robbery, conspiracy to steal from a shop and possession of a class B drug.
A 17-year-old-boy from Merton was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery, conspiracy to steal from a shop and possession of a class A drug.
