Camden Christmas market is open for its first day today. The market has stalls to buy festive gifts and areas to enjoy music, street food and mulled wine. You can also buy your Christmas tree from the fir tree forest in the North Yard.
It will be open every Thursday from now until the 22 December from 12-9pm. There will be a different theme every week. Today is ‘Best of Camden’, and following weeks’ themes will be based on fashion, arts, and food.
The market is the first of three Christmas markets to open in the North London area and is free to visit.
For the six weeks the North Star Bar will be a permanent residents for live musicians, brass bands and carol singers to perform.
