London Fields Lido repairs have been postponed due to issues Hackney council have found with finding a ‘capable’ tiling specialist.
Updating the facilities at the local outdoor swimming pool were scheduled to begin at the end of November, but now they won’t be started until a later date.
Due to the postponement, the Lido will be open through the winter months. Members who have already suspended their memberships are being told to contact General Manager Nicola Flaherty at [email protected] to re-activate it.
The new facilities are still due to be opened and will include gender specific changing facilities and outdoor showers.
