The idea is that by involving parents with the staff and children, it will create a more homely and nurturing learning environment.
All 30 families enrolled are expected to contribute in some way, while “parent days,” when parents partner with staff, attract a monthly discount of £120 off fees.
In the UK, childcare accounts for 27% of family income.
In London average costs are more than a third higher than in the rest of England.
