Have you ever heard of a hotel, for cats? Well, this tail is fur-real. The lucky felines will have designer suites, gourmet food from the a la cat menu, paw massages and private play areas with views across the garden.

The cat-hotel chain Longcroft will be building on Haslemere Ave where many retired people live. These residents have pounced on the new plan, fearing increased waste and noise, and more traffic as customers arrive to drop off their pets. Could this be a cat-astrophe?

Barnet Council have approved the plans, and Longcroft are introducing their first North London luxury cat hotel, hoping to provide a comfortable environment for feline friends.

Long croft will open the cat hotel over the summer and are hoping for a purr-fect partnership. But these pampered pets may have too much cat-titude for the residents of Barnet.

Will the area welcome the building or will it be goodbye to North London’s purr-sonal cat care?
