Fire at Grenfell Tower in west London as police release final death toll

The identities of the last two bodies found in the west London block were confirmed by the coroner on Tuesday.
Victoria King, 71, and her 40-year-old daughter Alexandra Atala have been identified as the final two victims of the Grenfell Tower fire, Scotland Yard said.
Police said 70 people died in the fire, while a baby, Logan Gomes, was stillborn after it and has been recorded as a victim of the Grenfell fire.
The fire took the lives of entire families, with those that died including a range of ages from a stillborn baby boy to an 84-year-old woman.
Those who died include a family of six and at least three families of five. One woman among the dead, was found clutching her baby daughter.
Hashim Kedir died alongside his wife Nura Jemal, and three children aged 6, 12 and 13.
The Metropolitan Police believe all those who died in the blaze in west London five months ago, have been recovered and identified.
The death toll was initially feared to be much greater.
In June, the Met had a list of 400 missing people – with many of the calls in the aftermath of the fire, referring to the same people. One person was reported 46 times and others reported a number times under different names or spellings.
While officers do not expect the final stage of the search operation to be finished until early next month, they said it was “highly unlikely there is anyone who remains inside Grenfell Tower”.
The news comes after it was revealed more than 200 children and members of 320 households affected by the fire were still living in hotel accommodation.
