Tonight the final of the London Doctors’ netball league takes place in the City of London.
The Pivot and Slides will take on The Schroders in the battle for the title.
Shannon Burns, the captain of the Kilburn based Pivot and Slides, said the recreational sport helps balance the high intensity environment of their work life.
“It’s been well documented that the NHS is under a lot of pressure at the moment, so team sports like this are a great form of release.”
The Pivot and Slides say that they have beaten The Schroders before and are confident they will play to victory this evening.
