Carlos Gomez has been cutting hair at the salon for 23 years and has been given just two weeks to leave after the new owners handed him an eviction notice.
He told City News “I will make sure I make my voice heard”.
“Everyday we are squeezed more with money, I guess what I am looking forward to is not being bullied anymore and having a decent contract”.
Gomez’s fight to stay comes with a divided opinion on the future of Stables Market, which was amongst one of the developments bought by tech billionaire, Teddy Sagi n 2014.
Overseen by Lab Tech Camden, the new developments hope to vitalise the Stables and Lock Markets, shifting its focus from day-trippers and sightseers, and responding to longstanding concerns over anti-social behaviour and what is sold.
