MPs observed a minute’s silence in commemoration of those who died in London terror attacks in 2017. 14 people died in total, including 5 in the Westminster attack.
Flowers on site of Westminster terror attack one year on
Members of the public and PM have placed flowers on the roadside where the attack occurred last year.
Many carried personal messages of condolence for those who were killed.

Many people have also taken to Twitter to member those who lost their lives in the attack.

#LondonUnited will be projected in four different locations, including the Palace of Westminster.
They will also light-up London Bridge, Finsbury Park Mosque and Parsons Green station, where other terror attacks took place.
A 20 minute commemoration service takes place at lunchtime. It is thought Home Secretary Amber Rudd will attend.
London Mayor Sadiq Khan said Londoners are “united against terrorism and in hope for the future.”
How the Westminster attack unfolded
During the the attack, Islamist extremist Masood mounted the pavement on Westminster Bridge in a 4X4 and drove at pedestrians. He then stabbed PC Keith Palmer.
The attack killed 5 in total including Masood, and injured 50.
An “eerie” silence…
Defence minister Tobias Ellwood gave mouth-to-mouth to PC Palmer. He spoke about the silence after the officer died.
“It was very eerie. Not a single movement of traffic, not a horn, not anybody speaking, no shouts, nothing whatsoever…
“I was then left there with a couple of the original policemen, who by this time were very, very upset because it was their colleague.”
PC Shaun Cartwright, a former colleague and friend to PC Palmer, said he “did his job and never wanted any fuss.”
