A trampoline park in Brent Cross is encouraging customers to flip, bounce and spin for an extra hour to raise money for Children In Need.

Flip Out Brent Cross plan to donate £1 from every second hour jump purchased this week to the charity. As a result, they hope to make a significant contribution on behalf of north-west London.

Onkar Bhatt, the fundraiser’s overseer expressed her delight with the level of public interest:

‘‘Lots of people have come through the door. Luckily, local schools had inset days which helped with the footfall and therefore fundraising.’’

‘‘If we hit £1,000 we’d be absolutely stoked.”

The charity’s regional officer James Humber echoed the importance of Londoners getting involved with local fundraising:

‘‘A huge number of activities have been held this week. It is amazing to see how keen the public are to get onboard and help us change people’s lives.’’

‘‘The fundraising the public does on our behalf is always extraordinary. Above all, it’s that that leads to our ability to fund projects.’’

Flip Out Brent Cross’s fundraiser will end tomorrow evening.  They hope to meet their £1,000 target in time.
