King’s College Hospital in South London said a number of beds are being treated for creatures.
A spokesperson said people are still being sent to the ward, but with a warning.
The 5mm-long bugs can cause bite marks but are said to not be dangerous.
Staff are said to be wearing protective clothing while deep cleaning is being carried out.
Women in the ward being discharged have been given advice and guidance.
Bed bugs have long been a pest to society, and are causing issues in the hospital.
These insects can also hide in many places, including bed frames and general furniture.

Using a clean, damp cloth on the affected area
Not scratching bites to avoid infection
