It’s been a bad morning for the M25 – the main carriageway at Junction 5 clockwise from Kent remains closed due to a fuel tanker fire earlier this morning. Our advice is to seek an alternative route where possible.
There’s also slow moving traffic clockwise from Hertfordshire between Junctions 24 at Stagg Hill and 25 Great Cambridge Road. And the exit slip road clockwise from surrey is closed due to a broken down lorry causing heavy traffic at Junction 8.
On the London Overground
You can expect a reduced service on the Overground between Gospel Oak and Barking; a temporary timetable is in place with trains running every 30 minutes. There is also a replacement bus service running.
There’s no service between Sydenham and West Croydon due to a points failure at Norwood Junction; tickets are being accepted on London Underground Services.
On the London Undergound
Thankfully, there’s a good service across all Tube lines.
