Tottenham Hotspurs travel to Monaco for tonight’s Champions League fixture.

Despite still being unbeaten in the Premier League, a loss for the Spurs tonight will see them knocked out of Europe in the group stages.

The Times chief sports correspondent, Henry Winter, said ‘the game could spell trouble for Spurs due to deadly Monaco striker, Radamel Falcao. Spurs will have their work cut out, but they must win this game’.

Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino will be making late decisions about the fitness of key players, including striker Harry Kane, midfielders Dele Alli and Mousa Dembele. Pochettino knows his team will have to be clever in their approach to the game, and he is not prepared to take any risks.

It will be a tricky game to call. The away team have never won an away game against French opposition, and Monaco were the 2-1 victors in their September meeting. However Tottenham are yet to concede a goal in their Champions League away fixtures this season.

Kick off at the Stade Louis II will be at 19.45 GMT.
