London Roller Girls take on Oslo in Saturday’s Roller Derby.

The all female contact sport is coming to Seven Sisters in Haringey for the international fixture.

Amy Raw, a Roller Derby player, said ‘[London Roller Girls] are delighted to host Oslo in what is set to be a tense and exciting match’.

London Roller Girls established the UK’s first Roller Derby league in 2006, and introduced the sport both here and across Europe. However, they will seek further success still in tonights game.

With just three ranking points between the two teams, the game is set to be entertaining.

For those watching the sport for the first time, each team will consist of 4 defensive players and one point scorer. It will be the defensive players who start the game by skating in front of the opposition’s pack.
