The next generation of top footballers could well be found in Primrose Hill’s under 9 team.
The seven-a-side team were glorious last night, winning The Camden and Islington League Cup and lifting the trophy for the second year running.
The youngsters initially suffered a setback in their title defence as they lost their opening group game 2-0.
But Primrose Hill’s prospects improved with a 1-1 draw in the next game and then four wins in a row.
Head coach Tony Curtis spoke to City News and told us “winning the cup twice shows that we’re really getting things in place now, we want to move the boys and girls on further so they can realise their potential.”
