Europe’s number one roller derby takes place this weekend in Tottenham Leisure centre to open the season for the sport.

The activity involves teams of girls on rollerblades racing each other around a track.

European teams are coming to to compete against London’s Rollergirls, known as London’s Brawling Allstars, including Crime City Rollers, Rainy City Roller Derby, Stockholm Roller Derby, Helsinki Roller Derby.

The Facebook event is proving popular with over three hundred people confirmed to attend and a thousand more expressing interest.
