Westminster-born Dom Parsons is one of few Londoners respresenting Great Britain at the Winter Olympics 2018.

A former 400m runner, Dom Parsons was first introduced to skeleton in 2007, when Adam Pengilly took him to the push track at Bath University.
Parsons achieved two fourth-place finishes at the Junior World Championships in 2009 and 2010 before competing at senior level in 2013, when he finished ninth.
He was selected to make his second Games appearance in Pyeongchang 2018 after another solid World Cup season, his best result being joint fourth in St. Moritz in the penultimate race of the campaign.
The British bobsleigh and Skeleton Association claims, ‘the skeleton team is strong this year.’
The games are beginning this Friday, with training for biathlon starting on Wednesday.
