He will also be fined 40 per cent of his match fee for a slow over-rate during their win in Bristol last night.
The team took almost four hours to bowl their 50 overs in Bristol.
“England were ruled to be two overs short after time allowances were taken into consideration,” the International Cricket Council said in a statement.
The rest of the team was also disciplined being fined 20% of their wages.
England lead the five-match series 2-0.
