Surrey play domestically at the Oval in Kennington, which will also play host to some of the tournament's matches.

Surrey cricket players Liam Plunkett, Jason Roy and Tom Curran have been called up to the England Cricket Squad for this year’s World Cup.

Curran and Plunkett join Chris Woakes and Mark Wood as the pace bowlers in the squad.

Making their debut appearances are fast bowler Jofra Archer and Liam Dawson. Previous regulars Joe Denly and David Willey did not make the cut.

The tournament begins on 30 May and will be played in grounds across the country.

As the current top-ranked team, it may be England’s best chance in years to bring the trophy home. This is has never happened in history.
