The Fulham Supporters Trust took to Craven Cottage to protest the recent 18% hike in ticket prices on Saturday.

Supporters of the demonstration held up their own yellow cards at the eighteenth minute of the Saturday lunchtime kick-off, urging Fulham football club to “not price us out.”

Ticket prices in during the summer peaked at £160 for tickets to watch Fulham play Manchester United. Season ticked for adults have also soared to £3,000.

Simon Duke, chairman of the Fulham Supported Trust said: “We now believe we have the most expensive general sale tickets in the Premier League, if not the country, in the world”.

Whilst Fulham sits at 15th in the Premier League table, tickets for home games are higher than those of football giants, Arsenal and Liverpool.

“We’re asking the club to think carefully about how they price going forwards,” Mr Duke told City News. Fans protested by holding out yellow cards at the 18th minute of the match, as a nod to the 18% increase.

According to FST member Sarah Keig, who is also the co-founder of the female supporting group Fulham Lillies, this is only the first in a series of protests that may continue all season if no action is taken.
