Can Rosenior keep a perfect domestic start?

Chelsea vs Leeds, Tuesday 10 February, 2026 – 7:30 GMT Kickoff

Chelsea will host Leeds United tonight at Stamford Bridge, as head coach Liam Rosenior looks to make it five Premier League wins in a row.

The Blues have the chance to jump above Manchester United into the top four with a win tonight, if in-form United fail to beat West Ham at the London Stadium.

Leeds, meanwhile, come to Stamford Bridge aiming to move further clear of the drop zone.

Chelsea have been enjoying their best run of the season under new boss Liam Rosenior. They have collected seven wins in nine games under Rosenior, scoring 23 goals in the process.

Leeds are also in a rich vein of form, securing a decisive 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest last Friday.

Chelsea will be a tougher test, however, with The Whites’ last victory at The Bridge coming all the way back in 1999.

One concern for Chelsea is their lengthy injury list, with captain Reece James doubtful due to illness.

They will be pleased, though, with the return to fitness of Cole Palmer, who scored a hat-trick in their weekend victory over bottom-of-the-table Wolves.

Leeds will take lots of confidence from their 3-1 victory in December’s reverse fixture, where they outplayed Chelsea, scoring two in the first half.

Having won 3 of their last twenty-five away games, however, they come into the match as significant underdogs.

Two sides in drastic need of a morale boost

Tottenham vs Newcastle, Tuesday 10 February, 7:30 GMT kickoff

Tottenham Hotspur face a crucial Premier League fixture tonight as they take on Newcastle and try to halt their worrying run of form.

Spurs sit 15th in the Premier League, with just 29 points from 24 games this season. The Magpies are positioned just above in 12th, with both sides surely desperate to climb up the table and meet their high expectations.

Both sides suffered damaging defeats over the weekend, with Spurs losing captain Cristian Romero for the next four games following his red card in their 2-0 loss against United.

Newcastle, meanwhile, fell short in their 3-2 defeat at St. James Park against in-form Brentford, making it one draw and three defeats in their last four games.

Thomas Frank’s side began the season well, but as they slip further down the table, they are in danger of last year’s failings becoming this year’s reality.

In addition to the loss of Romero, Spurs continue to be without Dejan Kulusevski, Mohammed Kudus, and James Maddison, who are all months away from a return.

Newcastle also have some significant absentees, and will be without Joelinton, Tino Livramento and Fabian Schar for their trip to North London. Manager Eddie Howe is, however, hopeful of welcoming back Anthony Gordon and Lewis Miley for tonight’s fixture.

Gordon and Miley would be a further boost for Howe following the return of captain Bruno Guimaraes against Brentford, who Newcastle are yet to win a game without since he joined over four years ago.

Five in a row for United?

West Ham vs Man United, Tuesday 10 February, 7:30 GMT Kick-off

Manchester United travel to East London tonight to take on 17th place West Ham.

United come into the fixture as clear favourites, having won their last four – the first time they have achieved such a feat since Erik Ten Haag was in charge.

Michael Carrick looks to defeat another one of his former teams, but will need to be wary of West Ham, who have shown strong recent form in their fight for survival.

United sit one spot above Chelsea in 4th, with the mood around the club finally beginning to improve since Carrick’s arrival.

A win away at West Ham, who have won four out of their last five in all competitions, would be another statement victory.

The Hammers have a strong record in this fixture, winning each of their last three home games against United, and even snatching a draw in this season’s reverse fixture at Old Trafford.

A win for West Ham tonight would keep the pressure on Leeds and Nottingham Forest in what is shaping up to be a nail-biting end to this season’s relegation fight.

West Ham will be without Jean-Claire Todibo, who serves the second game of his three-game suspension following his sending off against Chelsea.

United, on the other hand, continue to be without Matthijs De Ligt, Mason Mount and Patrick Dorgu, the latter of whom will be sidelined until April.
