Local music artists could get their hands on a brand new Brit Award.
The newly introduced statue design designed by the late Dame Zaha Hadid, shows a depiction of Lady Britannia with her hips to one side.
BRITs Chairman Jason Iley said: “We are delighted with the finished statues. Like Zaha, they are innovative and original”
London born artists such as Jess Glyne from Hampstead and Tottenham born Adele were all-shortlisted last year for the awards.
The late Amy Winehouse who lived in Camden was also nominated for Best Female Solo Artist following the release of the 2015 biopic ‘Amy’.
London music acts will have to wait until the nominations for the 2017 awards will be announced on 14 January.
