Ballet dancer, Sergi Polunin, will perform tonight at Sadler’s Wells in Islington.
He will perform Project Polunin, a collaboration with of dancers and choreographers for both stage and film.
The Ukranian dancer trained at the Royal Ballet School before joining The Royal Ballet where he became the youngest principal in the company’s history.
The sold out performance includes both classical and modern pieces, including the UK premiere of Vladimir Vasiliev’s Icarus, and Tea or Coffee, a company piece choreographed by Andrey Kaydanovskiy.
Chloe Trayner of Dochouse UK, who are currently screening Sergei’s other project Dancer, accredits his boundary pushing style to his rising popularity.
