St. Patrick’s Day may be Friday 17th March, but celebrations are starting early at the Irish-owned Crown & Shuttle in Shoreditch.
Tonight, they begin a week of events celebrating the Irish’s love of whiskey and other beverages.
Irish craft breweries Franciscan Well and Bru, and Irish whiskey Jameson come together to show there’s more to Irish beers than just Guinness.
Customers have the chance to learn more about the distillers’ craft tipples, match whiskey and beers and pick a winner in the Great Irish Stout Off.
Manager Simon McRae told City News that the event will give Londoner’s a taste of Irish culture.
