Mexican actor Roberto Cavazos claims that he witnessed “a couple of unpleasant encounters” involving Spacey at the Old Vic in Lambeth, including being “squeezed’ by him in the theatre’s bar.
The theatre is now on the receiving end of accusations of its own: namely that some of its staff were complicit in “covering up” rumours surrounding Spacey’s alleged misconduct.
Spacey has responded to this new wave of accusations with a second statement following his initial response to allegations made by fellow actor Anthony Rapp, in which the two-time Oscar winner also came out as gay.
Spacey’s statement claims that he is “taking the time necessary to seek evaluation and treatment”, and that “no further information is available at this time”.
