Art gallery, Fiumano Clase, opens a new exhibition “Discoveries” from 30th January to 16th March 2018 at 21 Wren Street, London WC1.
The exhibition will feature four recently graduated emerging artists scouted by Fiumano Class in the last twelve months. Rhine Bernardino’s will showcase her sculptural series, “Regla”, for the first time.
“Regla“ is made up of 12 sculptures, one for each menstrual cycle of the year- the last one will be completed this December. The sculptures use glass, water and her own menstrual blood and will be on showcased for the first time.
She describes her piece as “a makeshift laboratory wherein collections of menstrual blood are not associated with disgust but regarded as objects ofinspection and conversation.”
