The actress is most famous for playing Brienne of Tarth in the popular HBO and Sky Atlantic fantasy series Game of Thrones. Christie also found fame for her roles in the Star Wars and The Hunger Games films.
She is no stranger to the stage either with past performances in Dr Faustus, Cymbeline and Breakfast At Tiffany’s.

“Immersive tickets allow the story to be followed on foot.”
In her role as the fairy queen Christie will star alongside Green Wing actor Oliver Chris as Oberon/Theseus.
Other actors announced so far include David Moorst in the role of Puck and London-based Hammed Animashaun as Bottom.
The production reunites the team behind Hytner’s Julius Caesar last year.
Stage design is from Bunny Christie, costume from Christina Cunningham, lighting from Bruno Poet and sound from Paul Arditti. Grant Olding also joins the group as the composer.
According to Bridge Theatre’s synopsis, “The theatre becomes the forest – a dream world of flying fairies, contagious fogs and moonlight revels.”
“The seating is wrapped around the action while the immersive tickets allow the story to be followed on foot.”
