The Game of Thrones Season Finale has received mixed reviews
SHARE:
The last episode of Game of Thrones may have aired last night, but the war over Westeros is raging on.
A petition to remake the final season of the epic, bloody series has reached over 1.1 million signatures.
Some fans feel the series was let down by poor writing and a hard-to-follow plot.
They say it was made worse by the fact that author George RR Martin, whose series of books formed the basis of the show, hasn’t actually finished writing the epic tale.

But while critics have not been kind to the eighth and final series, some say the final episode went some way to redeeming it.
Writing in the Guardian, TV critic Lucy Mangan said it corrected some ‘major wrong’.
“There’s no doubt this season has been a rushed business. It has wasted opportunities, squandered goodwill and failed to do justice to its characters or its actors,” writes Mangan.
“But the finale just about delivered.”
