Surely, you recognise this incredibly famous classical composer?
Well it’s Mozart, for those of you who passed Music GCSE
But how about this?
A little more contemporary, but if you did got that it was Croydon-born grime rapper, Stormzy, then I think you have a chance of acing the new curriculum that National charity Youth Music are trying to bring in.
Schools have been urged to swap Mozart for Stormzy in a bid to get more pupils engaged in music lessons.
Following a four-year study, Youth Music has said introducing new types of music to schools could transform lessons and also help diversify the entertainment industry in the future.
Rocketman
The eagerly awaited Rocketman movie premiered in London, with Sir Elton John and Taron Egerton attending.
And the reviews have been…kind of mixed.
The Guardian gave the film three stars, writing that Egerton “gamely does a middleweight impersonation, more comfortable with the lighter side: better at the tiaras than the tantrums”. Ouch.
But The Telegraph was more positive, giving Rocketman a full five stars, saying there is “no comparison” between it and Bohemian Rhapsody. So take that as you will.
Soho to Walthamstow
Anyone up for dinner and a show? Well, the doors to the historic London venue that will become a new outpost for the Soho Theatre have been opened to the public for the first time in more than 15 years today.
Waltham Forest Council has bought the art deco building on Hoe Street for £2.8million and once it fully reopens it will be operated by Soho Theatre with a focus on programming comedy acts.
The site’s been used for public entertainment since 1887, and in its heyday hosted the likes of the Beatles, Duke Ellington and Johnny Cash.
Downton Abbey trailer
Downton Abbey fans, the wait is over… the trailer for the film version of the hugely popular TV series has arrived.
What lies in store for the Crawley family and their servants below the stairs?
All we know so far: The King and Queen are coming to stay and Dame Maggie Smith as the Dowager Countess still has the best lines.
The film is being released in September.
