Aaron Sorkin’s adaptation of To Kill A Mockingbird is going to appear in the Giulgud Theatre in May 2020.
This will mark the 60th anniversary of the publication of the Pulitzer Prize winning novel, written by Harper Lee.
The American classic is set in Monroeville, Alabama, in 1934. It follows the story of Scout, a young girl, who struggles to understand the racial injustices in her town.
Sorkin’s adaptation previously appeared on Broadway in New York and it was nominated for nine Tony Awards, winning one.
Bartlett Sher is directing the West End production and it is being designed by Miriam Buether.
Tickets will go on sale in December. A full cast and exact dates are yet to be announced but fans are already celebrating with this the announcement.
