Donations are still coming in for Children In Need after singer-songwriter, Sophia Ellis-Bextor, dances for 24 hours in the BBC Radio Theatre in London.

During the 24 hours danceathon, the singer was joined by a number of celebrity guests. Ellis-Bextor sang karaoke with English DJ, Tony Blackburn, and TV personality, Gemma Collins.

The 24 hour danceathon challenge was inspired after she spent lockdown entertaining the public with Sophie’s Kitchen Disco Sessions.

The singer has received support from famous faces. “I would double that if you go for another 24 hours”, Simon Pegg joked.

The current total of donations stands at £1,009,137. These donations are continuing to flow in after the 24 hour challenge.
